The call for applications is now open for the Year-2 cohort. A few key details:
- Eligibility: NSF restricts funded trainee positions to U.S. citizens and permanent residents; however, unfunded trainees may still participate fully in the program.
- Faculty Nominations: Each faculty advisor may nominate one student using this form: Faculty Nomination Form.
- Student Applications: The nominated student must also complete their own application here: Student Application Form.
- Preference: Students in the first three years of their MS or PhD program will be prioritized, though 4th-year PhD students may be considered if slots remain.
- Deadline: Applications, including the advisor’s letter of support, are due October 15, 2024 (11:59 PM ET).
